SIGNOR LAB

North Dakota State University

Evolutionary genetics

My lab addresses fundamental questions in evolutionary biology using Drosophila as a model organism. We are interested in how organisms retain homeostasis in the face of disruptions from their own genome and the environment. We maintain two broad research areas: how organisms defend against transposable elements, and how organisms evolve plasticity to adapt to environmental change.
